Bibles for Everyone

Because of a donation, on the 25th of June 2023, I was able to distribute 33 Bible to the people of ELCK Teachers.
Seven primary pupils got an English Good News Bible to be used at home and even in school.
Seven secondary students received an English Revised Standard Bible also to be used in school and at home.
Further, I gave out twenty Swahili Bible to the adults of the church.
I also prepared a Bible study guide for each according to their age:
Because of a second donation, on the 2nd of July 2023, I was able to distribute another 23 Bibles.
Seven further primary pupils got an English Good News Bible.
Seven further primary pupils got an English Good News Bible.
Nine further secondary students received an English Revised Standard Bible. Some were absent during the Sunday service, those received their Bibles later by Evangelist Evans.
I gave out further twenty Swahili Bible to the adults of the church. Now all church members have their own Bible.

New Multipurpose Room for the Church

During the last weeks, it was very challenging to teach a proper Sunday school in two age groups, because the children were not coming in time and some even came after the service had already started.
I suggested to build a new classroom for Sundayschool in front of the church building. So the church members collected some money and on Monday, the 12th of June 2023, we started to build a new multipurpose room for the church meant for Sunday school, Teens Club, Bible Study for Young Adults, meetings etc. On Sunday, the 17th of June 2023, we completed the construction. 
We have used offcuts and polythen to build as cheap as possible and we built the room ourselves. Active builders were: the chairman of the church, one church elder and his worker and my gardener and myself.

ELCK Teachers

ELCK Teachers is led by the Evangelist Evans and the elders of the church. The church was founded four years ago as a daughter church of ELCK Pangani.
ELCK Teachers is located around 15 km outside of Nakuru between the estates of Kiratina and Nakuru Teachers. The church has around 25 congregants. Till now there is only a Sunday Service and a Sunday School.
