In 2008, there was a Swedish missionary called Rachel, who founded "Bethesda Children Ministry Nakuru".
"Bethesda Children Ministry Nakuru" include a nursery school, a primary school and a children home for former street boys. The primary children do not pay any school fees, but a small among for their lunch.
In 2012, Rachel handled over the ministry into the hand of the Kenyan workers and went back to Sweden.
